Gaya Shantha Ekanayake, the chairman of the Mawatagama Gaya Group of Companies, donated Rs. 1 million to the Kidney Unit of the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital to purchase a new blood circulation machine. The machine is being provided through the Rotary Club of Athugalpura and the remaining funds will be provided by the national and international units of that organization.
