GAYA TUST INVESTMENT PVT LTD was established in 2014 following its incorporation under the Companies Act No. 07 of 2007. As a finance company, the company was originally established with the prime focus on providing hire purchasing facilities and personal loans. From its inception, the company established a strong process- and system-driven culture, and it has reaped company growth over time. The Company changed its directors during the journey and the whole team brought with it a new philosophy; a value-driven culture that drives the Company towards greater success in the longer term thereby contributing to the meaningful development of the overall society.

Mr. EMGS Ekanayaka, a retired police officer (1989-1998) by profession started a sole trader real estate enterprise in a small way in the year 2000 and it gradually was built to a successful business venture. It was turned to a limited liability conglomerate, GAYA GROUP in 2011.

Rear Admiral K.M.G.N.C. Navarathne has relinquished his distinguished and unblemished career after serving 33 years in the Sri Lanka Navy. During his exemplary service, he has completed and achieved all professional qualifications required of any military officer. Equipped with two master’s degrees in Management and Military Science and Strategic Studies, Rear Admiral Navarathne brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role as Managing Director at Gaya Group. He is eager to contribute his expertise and lead the company’s development and expansion, with the goal of establishing Gaya Group as a professionally competent and trustworthy entity in society.

Along with the leadership of the director Mr. Gachithra Marvan Ekanayaka who is in his young age, the business operates well in all fields. He is qualified in LLB(London), reading for LLM Masters in Intellectual Property & Finance and a Lawyer by profession, expects to reach new heights in the industry in the years to come.

Mrs. Ekanayake possesses a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree along with diplomas in Human Resource Management, Information Technology, English, and Confidential Secretarial. She brings over 15 years of diverse experience in both the private and public sectors, having served as a Coordinating Secretary and thrived in various other roles.
